DEFA Solid 20A is a compact and reliable home charging station designed for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids equipped with a Type 2 connector. It is ideal where high three-phase power is not required but safe and stable charging from a 230 V single-phase supply is needed.<\/p>\n
The maximum charging power is 4.6 kW (up to 20 A), suitable for efficient charging of both plug-in hybrids and fully electric vehicles. When installed on an existing 230 V circuit (for example, replacing a standard wall socket), charging power may be approximately 3.7 kW, providing up to around 150 km of driving range overnight.<\/p>\n
The ECO function allows easy adjustment of charging power via a button. Available levels are 2.3 kW, 3.6 kW, and 4.6 kW, enabling adaptation to the property\u2019s electrical capacity.<\/p>\n
Installation is quick and flexible. A wall bracket and integrated spirit level are included. Cable entry is possible from the top, bottom, or rear. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.<\/p>\n
