1. General Provisions

This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs the relationship between IKEK Sähköexpert Oy ("Service Provider") and an individual or legal entity ("Client") who intends to use the services provided by the Service Provider.

This Agreement becomes effective once the Client confirms a booking, order, or request for consultation through the website, by phone, by email, or any other method. By confirming the booking, the Client agrees to the terms of this Agreement.

2. Services

The Service Provider offers the following services:

- Installation and maintenance of photovoltaic solar power systems
- Installation of electric vehicle charging stations
- Electrical installation work
- Electrical design and consulting
- Industrial and home automation

3. Booking and Cancellation

3.1. Booking a Time Slot

The Client may book a service appointment via the website, phone, or email. A booking is considered confirmed once the Service Provider sends a confirmation notice.

3.2. Booking Cancellation

The Client may cancel a booking without penalty if done at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. Cancellations must be made in writing (via email) or by phone.

3.3. Late Cancellation Penalty

If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time or if the Client fails to appear, the Service Provider reserves the right to charge for incurred planning and preparation expenses, including but not limited to:

- Preparation of project documentation
- Allocation of resources and personnel
- Loss of opportunity to serve other clients


The penalty may amount to up to 30% of the planned work cost, but not less than €100.

4. Rates and Payment

4.1. Base Rates

Non-urgent work – booked at least 3 business days in advance – is charged at the base rate of €63/hour (working hours: 08:00–17:00 on weekdays).

Urgent work – with a response time from 1 hour to 2 working days – is charged at double rate: €129/hour (working hours: 08:00–23:00 on weekdays).

On weekends, holidays, and outside the hours listed above, the rate is €199/hour with a minimum charge of 2 hours. For example, if the work takes 30 minutes during these hours, a 2-hour charge still applies.

All rates are based on work performed by one electrician. If the nature or safety of the task requires at least two people, the rate will be adjusted accordingly. This will be discussed with the Client prior to the work.

4.2. Additional Fees

- Travel beyond 50 km from Vantaa: €0.9/km
- Work during non-business hours and weekends: increased rates per the price list
- Use of service vehicle: €39
- Parking fees apply in paid parking zones

4.3. Payment Terms

Payment is due according to the issued invoice. The following payment methods are available:
- Invoice: 7 days for review or dispute of the invoice, followed by 7 days for payment. Late payment interest: 5% per day of delay.
- Partial prepayment before the work begins: from 30% of the total (by agreement with the Client)
- Installment payment (by agreement)
- Credit (by agreement with the bank and the Client)

5. Warranty and Liability

5.1. Equipment Warranty

- Solar panels: up to 25 years manufacturer warranty
- Inverters: 5–10 years depending on the manufacturer
- Installation work: 2 years

5.2. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider is not liable for:
- Delays or inability to perform services due to reasons beyond their control (force majeure)
- Damages arising from equipment installed by third parties
- Indirect damages, including lost profits

6. Data Protection and Processing

The Service Provider undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of the Client's personal data and use it solely for the purpose of fulfilling this Agreement. Data processing is carried out in accordance with applicable Finnish and EU legislation.

7. Changes to Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to amend this Agreement. The Client will be notified of any changes in advance by publishing a new version on the website or by other means.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by Finnish law. Any disputes arising in connection with the execution of this Agreement shall be settled in the competent court of Finland.
